We were asked to remove the old handrails and spindles of this staircase and replace them with a modern mixed material set.
After dismantling the previous set, our carpenters meticulously replaced everything. The newel posts were installed, handrails added and then the metal spindles were evenly distributed in the base rail, completed with matching stair aprons and finished with a varnish all over. Once the new fittings had been added and finished, a new carpet was laid up the stairs and throughout the landing.
